Villager Yin Xinping is awarded at a ceremony to distribute annual dividends in Daoping Village in Longnan City, northwest China's Gansu Province, on Jan. 7, 2020. Villagers of 79 households who are shareholders of Daoping Village's joint-stock cooperative received their dividends for the year 2019 on Tuesday. Altogether 785,000 yuan (112,600 U.S. dollars) were distributed to the individual and village collective this year. Daoping was once a village struck by deep poverty.
