Zhang Yimeng, an 8-year-old primary school pupil in Jinan, started to learn fencing in 2017. At the begining, he was attracted by the cool fencing equipment on the enrollment poster. After training for almost 2 years, he has become obsessed with fencing and has achieved good results in various levels of children's fencing games in the country. "We don't know how far he can go in fencing, but he becomes more self-reliant and confident, this is the benifits of sports." said his parents. Fencing is becoming popular in China.
