Aerial photo taken on June 12, 2019 shows farmers pulling up purple glutinous rice seedlings at a planting base in Dali Village of Liangzhai Township in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. There are about 1,500 mu (100 hectares) of purple glutinous rice fields in Liangzhai Township with three modern agricultural demonstration zones established. In recent years, Liangzhai Township has been committed to developing purple glutinous rice planting industry through joint efforts from local government, cooperatives, planting bases and farmers, as an important means to help lift impoverished households out of poverty.
