SEOUL, April 30 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's industrial output rose 1.1 percent in March from a month earlier, marking the rebound from the previous month, a government report showed Tuesday.

The seasonally-adjusted production in all industries, which excludes farm industries, grew 1.1 percent in March from a month earlier, after skidding 2.6 percent in February, according to Statistics Korea.

Output in the mining and manufacturing sectors advanced 1.4 percent in the month, and production among services companies added 0.2 percent.

Retail sales, which reflect private consumption, gained 3.3 percent in March from a month ago, posting the biggest growth in 49 months since February 2015.

Facility investment jumped 10 percent in the cited period, the fastest expansion since March 2017.
