Actress Sun Qian appears on the red carpet ceremony of the 1st Hainan Island International Film Festival in Sanya, south China's Hainan Province, Dec. 11, 2018. The first Hainan International Film Festival officially opened Tuesday night in the tropical coastal city of Sanya in the country's southern-most island province of Hainan. The film festival is one of Hainan's first series of projects in building itself into a pilot free trade zone and a free trade port.
