JAKARTA, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Iran U-23 national soccer team defeated DPRK 3-0 in the 2018 Asian Games on Friday.

Iran, who started the campaign with a 0-0 draw against Saudi Arabia in Group F, will play Myanmar on Monday.

The soccer competitions are being held from August 14 to Sept. 1, 2018 in Indonesia. In addition to the host city and Palembang, matches will also be played in Bekasi, Cibinong, Cikarang, and Soreang.
