TEHRAN, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Iran's defensive midfielder Omid Ebrahimi has joined Qatari soccer club Al Ahli, Tasnim news agency reported on Tuesday.

Al Ahli SC, also known as Al Ahli Doha, has signed the Iranian player on a one-year contract.

Ebrahimi played with Iran's national team against Morocco, Spain and Portugal in Group B of the 2018 World Cup. Enditem
