TOKYO, April 17 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 107 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Tuesday, largely in line with its levels in New York overnight.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 107.06-07 yen compared with 107.06-16 yen in New York and 107.20-22 yen at 5 p.m. local time on Monday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.2383-2384 dollars and 132.58-62 yen against 1.2374-2384 dollars and 132.58-68 yen in New York and 1.2356-2358 dollars and 132.46-50 yen in late Monday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
