MADRID, April 11 (Xinhua) -- Spanish shares fell on Wednesday, with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 down 0.28 percent or 27.70 points.

A total of 20 of the selected 35 companies fell in the day.

Real estate company Inmobiliaria Colonial fell 2.65 percent, being the top loser of the day. Renewable energy company Siemens Gamesa lost 2.41 percent and airline group IAG went down 2.05 percent.

Telecommunication company Cellnex advanced 2.88 percent, followed by Spain's energy company Iberdrola and electricity supplier R.E.C. that rose 1.76 percent and 1.10 percent respectively. Enditem
