HO CHI MINH CITY, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Cuong Vu Trio concert, performed by the first Vietnamese Grammy award winner, will be staged on Jan. 18 in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday.

Cuong Vu, winner of two Grammy awards, won for Best Contemporary Jazz Album, through his work with the Pat Metheny band. He is currently associate professor and chair of jazz studies at the University of Washington.

Before the concert, Vu will share with audience about his journey with jazz as both an artist and an educator.
