NEW YORK, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Thousands of car enthusiasts from around the United States gathered in New York City on Sunday to pay homage to the most tricked out, fastest and flashiest wheels on the road.
AutoCon New York 2018, held at Pier 94, a trade show venue in Midtown Manhattan, features classic, modified, and exotic vehicles on display, plus music, food vendors, talks on a drive-up stage, as well as chances to try out the latest in car technology.
The daylong event, hosted by automotive journalist-turned-"The Fast and the Furious" actor RJ de Vera, has drawn hundreds of the world's unique vehicles.
Since 2010, AutoCon has been recognized as one of the most innovative automotive events in the nation spanning from cities in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Miami and New Jersey/New York.
